The Gracie Jean Bush-Dance Fundraiser
Description
A staple of school sports days across rural Australia, bush dancing is iconic, delightfully daggy, and guaranteed fun for all ages. From holding hands and bouncing your way through the Heel-Toe Polka to swinging your partner around as you Strip the Willow, Gracie Jean will expertly guide you through a mix of traditional Australian bush dances and much-loved dance classics.
Worried about your dancing skills? Don't be! With the help of her friends Charley Castle and the Boys in the Well and The Low Commitment String Band, Gracie Jean will break down each dance step-by-step before leading everyone through the full dance. Whether you're a seasoned bush dancer or a complete beginner, you'll be joining in with confidence in no time.
Before the dancing begins, the Gracie Jean Band will perform a selection of original songs, including tracks from Gracie Jean's upcoming sophomore album.
All proceeds from the evening will go towards funding the recording and release of the album, making this a night of great music, community, and country-style fun for a wonderful cause.
