Join us for the final event of Citrus Fest as we gather around the table to celebrate community, abundance, and the joy of sharing.
Inspired by the tradition of a cake swap, this special afternoon high tea invites guests to bring along a homemade citrus creation to share with fellow festival-goers. Whether it's a cake, slice, tart, biscuit, savoury bake, marmalade, curd, preserved lemons, candied peel, cordial, or any other citrus-inspired delight, every contribution adds to a spectacular communal feast.
Spend the afternoon sampling an incredible array of homemade treats, swapping recipes, sharing stories, and discovering new ways to use the season's bounty. It's a chance to meet fellow bakers, gardeners, preservers, and food lovers while celebrating the creativity and generosity of our community.
Fresh tea and coffee will be provided, and guests are encouraged to bring a copy of their recipe to swap alongside their creation. You may even head home with a few new favourites, a jar of homemade goodness, and some new friends.
As the final gathering of the festival, this is our opportunity to reflect on a weekend of learning, sharing, and connection, and to celebrate the abundance that grows when a community comes together.
Bring a plate, bring a preserve, bring a recipe—or simply bring yourself—and join us for a beautiful afternoon of citrus, conversation, and community. 🍊✨🫖
