Event description

Albert and Elwood Gray have been part of the Broome music scene for as long as they can remember. From knee high kids busking at the Courthouse Markets, to sharing the stage with John Butler and Stephen Pigram at the Cable Beach Amphitheatre. The Brothers have crafted their blood harmony, guitar, mandolin, stage banter and attentive lyrics on national festival stages, in music venues and backyards across the country.

The Gray Brothers are celebrating the release of their newest single "The Good News" in Broome's oldest standing building. Sweedish sailmaker Charles Bagge built the shed in 1897. In 2008 it was saved from demolition by the Broome Historical Society and in 2010 it was formally heritage listed - securing its place as a treasured part of Broome's history.

The Brothers are joined by Amber Hurley an exciting young local singer-songwirter, with a soulful voice and a powerful collection of ogriginal songs.
