The Great Duck Race: Community Edition

The Burleigh Rotary Heads Great Duck Race is back for another year 🏁

It's time to get your ducks in a row and adopt a duck in the Community Edition Duck Race to raise funds for GC community programs!

By adopting a duck in the community edition race you will be in the running to win one of these fantastic prizes:

FIRST PRIZE: A $1,500 Gold Coast Luxury Escape

SECOND PRIZE: $250 in cash PLUS a $250 Bunnings Voucher

THIRD PRIZE: $100 in cash PLUS a $100 Bunnings Voucher!

The day will be full of fun-filled activities so come down and join us.

How does it work:

The Rotary Club of Burleigh Heads owns 3,000 little rubber ducks, all with unique numbers (1-3,000). For each duck you adopt a duck you receive an entry in the race.

Your info will be entered into our master database and then using a randomization program, every ticket will be assigned a duck number. On the day of the duck race, the ducks are all released all at once into the creek (during peak tidal flow times). 

Photographers will record the winners as they cross the finishing line. The winners are determined by matching the winning duck numbers back to the ticket purchaser, with winners will be notified immediately after the event via phone.

Online duck adoption closes at 3.00PM on Saturday 1st November.
