The Great Escape (TGE) 2026

What is The Great Escape?

TGE is a week-long camp - Monday morning until Friday afternoon. We spend time with friends - old and new. We play big games. We eat meals together. We laugh and have fun together. And most importantly - we get to know a little bit more about a big God. This year our theme is 'The End Times' and our speaker is Duncan Sutherland.

Who can come?

If you are in years 6-12, you come to one of the St Luke’s youth or children’s programs, have been invited by someone who does, or just stumbled across this camp, we would love for you to join us at TGE.

Where is The Great Escape held?

TGE happens at the Port Hacking Conference Centres in the Royal National Park. We spread across 3 great sites: Years 6-8 at Rathane, 9-10 at Deer Park and 11-12 at Chaldercot. Visit http://youthworksoutdoors.net/... for more info on our sites.

When is The Great Escape held?

Monday July 6th (drop off from 9am) - Friday July 10th (2pm), 2026.

How much is TGE?

Camp this year will cost $480 (early bird rate - booking rate closes 31st May) or $500 (regular rate) per child, plus associated booking fees. Registrations close 11:59pm 28th June.

(Please note, a refund of the registration fee less $50 and booking fees will be available upon withdrawal from camp prior to and including June 28th. None of the registration fee will be refundable for withdrawal from camp after June 28th.)

We believe that every child should have the chance to come on camp. Thanks to many generous people at St Luke’s, we are able to offer assistance if you anticipate financial difficulty.  Please do not hesitate to reach out to our Camp Director Julie Gray (julie@stlukesmiranda.org.au) as soon as possible so we can organise financial assistance.
