The Great Food Con: Screening and Panel Event
Description
Join us for an exclusive screening of segments from the ABC docu-series The Great Food Con, followed by a solutions-based panel discussion.
In the series, Presenter Craig Reucassel reveals how the ultra-processed foods that make up nearly half the average Australian diet are linked to a range of harmful health effects and asks - do we really know what we’re eating anymore?
After the screening, join Craig Reucassel and a panel of experts, including researchers and advocates, who will unpack marketing claims and systemic issues and empower people to make informed decisions. The panel discussion will be moderated by Beverley Wang.
Please note, light refreshments will be provided from 12pm, with the screening event officially starting at 12:30pm.
The Great Food Con premieres on Tuesday, 24 November at 8pm on ABC TV, with all episodes available to stream on ABC iview.
