The Great Swap at the Nowra VWC

What better way to refresh your wardrobe, toys and books, and to meet new people than at the Nowra VWC’s International Women’s Day Great Swap! This event is run in collaboration with Shoalhaven Defence Families Association - Kookaburra Retreat.

The campaign theme for International Women's Day 2024 is Inspire Inclusion. When we inspire others to understand and value women's inclusion, we forge a better world. And when women themselves are inspired to be included, there's a sense of belonging, relevance, and empowerment. Collectively, let's forge a more inclusive world for women. 

In the spirit of the theme 'Inspire Inclusion', this event is open to women across all demographics with a connection to Defence or the veteran community. This includes current serving women, veterans, spouses, family members, widows, children etc.

Please register your attendance and your intention to bring items to swap. Only items in good condition should be provided and may include clothing, books and/or children's toys. BYO coathangers. Table space provided.
