“The GROOVE CREW” DRUMLINE: Term 1 Ensemble Program

“The GROOVE CREW” - Drumline Ensemble Program, 8-16 yrs
TERM 1 - Saturdays, 3-4:30pm : 10/2, 17/2, 2/3, 9/3, 16/3, 23/3, 6/4, 13/4 (8 weeks total)

PROGRAM OPTIONS:

OPTION ONE
FULL PROGRAM OPTION:
$540 = over 15 hrs of tuition!
👍🏻 8 x 90 minute “GROOVE CREW” group sessions 
👍🏻 8 x 30 minute 1:1 tuition sessions in chosen instrument (at mutually suitable time through week)
👍🏻 FREE use of chosen instrument within program hours 
👍🏻 FREE “GROOVE CREW” T-shirt 👕 
👍🏻 End of program performance afternoon for friends & family

OPTION TWO
GROUP ONLY PROGRAM OPTION:
$360 *no 1:1 tuition sessions included
👍🏻 8 x 90 minute “GROOVE CREW” group sessions 
👍🏻 FREE use of chosen instrument within program hours 
👍🏻 FREE “GROOVE CREW” T-shirt 👕 
👍🏻 End of program performance afternoon for friends & family

A fun & spirited program, supporting participants to develop skills in:
🥁 Rhythm & timing
🥁 Learning to read music charts
🥁 Listening & concentration 
🥁 Fine & gross motor skills 
🥁 Social skills & teamwork

Work with the group and facilitators to create a set list to perform a live show for friends & family.

- Research tells us that playing music, especially with others significantly improves concentration and cognitive development in other areas of learning I.e. reading, maths etc.

- Explore & develop skills in chosen instrument. 

🎶 No prior musical experience or skill required.  
🎶 Drums provided on site for use during sessions
🎶 Sessions are held in a safe and supportive space
🎶Trained & experienced facilitator/s support your child/loved one through the program, building their self esteem and creating positive learning experiences.
