This community event will bring together thought leaders, spiritual leaders, academics and community advocates to discuss what music has to offer our society at this pivotal juncture in our history. Music is more than entertainment, it is the universal language of love and the ultimate source of healing. What lessons can music teach us about conflict and resolution, culture, mindfulness, body awareness and healing? Connect to the deeper part of us and help drive cultural change through this interactive, performative forum.
Goals
- Build bridges between cultures, communities, academics, artists and arts workers to share knowledge, promote stories, ideas and perspectives on how music can help us heal and grow as a society.
- Build a festival brand that becomes synonymous with community wellbeing and healing.
- Offer academics a less formal, more open platform to connect with other cultures and communities.
- Facilitate live meditation and music offerings.
