A Gentle Program for a Stronger, Healthier Back

Do you experience occasional flare-ups of back pain? Have a recurring niggle in your neck or back? Or perhaps you'd simply like to maintain a strong, flexible, and pain-free spine as you age?

The Beingmore Back Care & Wellbeing Program is a gentle, progressive 6-week course designed to help you move more comfortably, improve core stability, and build confidence in your body.

Led by experienced Dru Yoga teacher Morag Morrish, this supportive clinically trialled program combines therapeutic yoga-based movements, strengthening exercises, relaxation techniques, and practical education to help you better understand and care for your back.

Places are strictly limited to 9 participants and with a small group format Morag can offer individualized support.

Who Is This Program For?

No previous yoga experience is required.

What You'll Learn

Over the six weeks, Morag will guide you through a proven programme of gentle yoga-based stretching and strengthening exercises.

You will learn:

Core Stability - Discover your deep core support muscles and learn how to recruit them effectively to support a healthy, pain-free back.

Safe Movement Skills - Learn how to move safely and confidently within your own comfort zone.

Flexibility & Mobility - Release tension, improve mobility, and increase flexibility through gentle therapeutic movements.

Relaxation Techniques - Learn simple techniques to relax tight muscles and reduce stress-related tension, which can often contribute to back pain.

Better Body Awareness -Develop a deeper understanding of your body and spine so you can recognise and respond to your body's needs.

Optional 10-Minute Home Practice

To help you get the most from the programme, you'll receive simple, easy-to-follow home practice resources.

Just 10 minutes a day (or even every other day if life is busy) can make a significant difference.

Whether you're managing chronic back pain or simply wanting to maintain a healthy back, you'll have practical tools you can use for years to come.

Taster Class - $40

This taster class is ideal for you if you would like to try the class before joining the full program .

The taster session gives you the opportunity to:

If you choose to continue with the full programme, the $40 taster fee will be deducted from the course fee, acting as your deposit.

Refresher Class - $40

This drop in class is ideal if you are a previous or regular client and would like a refresher on the program, revitalize your home practice, or give your back some well deserved care.

Six week Program - $240

Ideal if you are ready to give your back the care it deserves. If you are fed up of back pain and its time to MOVE in ways that support your spine. , If you are committed to investing in your health. The full program includes:

Frequently Asked Questions

What if join the 6 week course and I have to miss a class?

Morag will provide resources and guidance so you can catch up at home and stay on track with the programme. She will also offer you other class dates to do a catch up subject to availability.

Do I have to do the home exercises?

No. The home practice is entirely optional, but participants who practise regularly often experience greater benefits. You will be provided with a simple 10 minute a day home practice program.

What if I can't do all of the exercises?

That's absolutely fine. The programme is designed to be inclusive and accessible. Morag will offer modifications so you can work at your own pace and within your own comfort zone.

What if I have a serious back condition?

Morag will speak with you before the programme begins to ensure it is appropriate for your needs. If necessary, she may liaise with your GP, physiotherapist, chiropractor, or specialist to provide additional support.

What if I can't kneel?

Most exercises can be modified and adapted to suit your individual needs.

What if I can't get up and down from the floor easily?

Many exercises can be adapted using a chair. Morag can also teach safe techniques for getting up and down from the floor. If chair-based exercise would be more suitable, contact Morag about specialised Chair-Based Movement Classes.

Morag is an experienced Dru Yoga teacher and life coach with over 20 years of experience teaching therapeutic yoga, movement, relaxation, and wellbeing practices.

Known for her warm, encouraging, and inclusive approach, Morag is passionate about helping people move safely, build confidence, and enjoy a healthier relationship with their bodies.

Morag specialises in gentle therapeutic, trauma sensitive, accessible yoga for back care, stress management, menopause and perimenopause support, workplace wellbeing and resetting the nervous system after burnout.
