Join Bridge Road Brewers in beautiful Beechworth as we celebrate the Victorian hop harvest at The High Country Hop — Australia’s favourite destination beer + music festival.

Returning to the village green on Beechworth's Historic Precinct Reserve, you’ll taste the freshest beers of the year, discover local winemakers and distillers, and revel in an inspired musical lineup.

The festival centres on the brewers of the Victorian High Country, spotlighting a series of unique ales made with fresh, locally sourced hops from the 2026In Hop Products harvest. They’ll be joined by stars of the Australian craft beer scene, plus US craft legends Stone Brewing, all the way from San Diego.

And what’s a great drink without great music? We’ve pulled together another stellar line-up for 2026 — a cross-section of Melbourne’s most exciting independent artists: equal parts fierce, poetic and irresistible. A lineup built for discovery, celebration and big communal energy.

Food should never be an afterthought, so we’re bringing in the heavy hitters — a hand-picked selection of wholesome, crowd-pleasing eats for all tastes. Whether you’re planning a weekender, a day trip or a chance to explore your own backyard, The High Country Hop delivers a weekend you’ll remember.

Festival Hours: 11:30am - 8pm (playing times announced closer to the event)

WHATS INCLUDED IN YOUR TICKET?
- 8 hours of musical entertainment from some incredible artists!
- Adult 'HOPPED UP' ticket includes a festival glass and 5x $2 drink tokens (which can be used at any drinks vendors for alc/alc free drinks)
- U18 Ticket includes a soft drink and a token for 'Box Wars'

This year, we also have an ENTRY ONLY ticket, which gets you into the festival SANS any glass/tokens.

Please note, this ticket type was created for:

a) Those not interested in drinking.

b) Those who don't drink.

c) Designated drivers

A festival glass will be required for all alcoholic drink purchases and will be available for purchase at the gate for $5 (not including drink tokens).

Please do not purchase an ENTRY ONLY ticket if you intend to drink at the festival.

Location: Our festival hails from Beechworth – 560m above sea level and 30km from Australia’s largest hop growing farms. This is stunning country, a unique terroir of rugged hills and fertile farmlands that have cultivated North-East Victoria’s acclaimed producers. The township is alive with a vibrant food and wine scene, set against a streetscape steeped in the grandeur of yesteryear. Roam streets lined with Gold Rush architecture, lush green trees, boutiques and renowned restaurants and cafes. Venture just beyond and you’ll discover the iconic waterfalls, trails, peaks and gorges of the High Country. It's a truly unique place.

Accommodation? Beechworth accom often books out. There will be camping at Lake Sambell and Silver Creek parks. We'd also suggest looking at accom in surrounding towns like Myrtleford, Albury, Bright, Wangaratta, Wodonga.

PLEASE NOTE: This festival is a pet-free affair. Whilst we love them dearly, there is NO DOGS, CATS or FERRETS on site.
