The Hive Collective: Women Empowering Women

It's Hive time! The topic of women empowering women is one of the most requested by our Hivers. 

At this event, we will have a panel of speakers and host a genuine and personal discussion. The panelists will be sharing their experiences and insights of how they are working to empower women around them. We will also unpack the role other women have played in shaping who they are today and what future they are working to create for the next generation of women to thrive in. 

Introducing our speakers:

Yvette Cehtel

CEO of the Women’s Legal Service Tasmania. Yvette is committed to systems and reform to improve the rights of those who experience structural barriers to achieving equality.

Zoe Rimmer

A Pakana (Tasmanian Aboriginal) community member, Senior Curator of First Peoples Art and Culture at the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery (TMAG) and Senior Indigenous Scholar at the University of Tasmania (UTAS).

Amanda French

Founder and CEO of Dress for Success Hobart, a chapter of the global organisation that supports women to achieve economic independence through employment.
