The House on Grandfield Hill (PG)

The House on Grandfield Hill, is an original play by our Head of Performing Arts, Ms Tara Mackie and is a witty and heartwarming play filled with mystery, humour and a touch of the supernatural.

When teenage Ollie James moves to the English countryside, he discovers his new home is haunted by six ghosts of children whose quirky and comical deaths span from the 1200s to the early 1990s. Unable to leave the grounds of Grandfield Hill, the ghosts find an unexpected connection in Ollie, who can see and communicate with them, much to the confusion of his parents and relatives, who cannot! As Ollie grows closer to his ghostly companions, they begin to realise that they might be able to help each other find the things they’ve been missing. At its heart, The House on Grandfield Hill is a story about friendship, courage, family and finding your voice — filled with plenty of laughs, a touch of chaos and a ghostly gang you won’t soon forget.
