The Humidors

Hailing from Oakland, The Humidors have been churning out their own unique brand of party music for over a decade. Combining elements of hard-hitting funk, greasy soul, vintage R&B, afro jazz and more, you can be sure that this eight-piece unit is relentlessly committed to the groove in all its shapes and forms.

Fueled by some of the top players in the Bay, the Humidors have long since established themselves as one of the West Coast's premier funk and soul bands. Bursts of Hammond B3, punchy horns, chugging percussion, thumping bass, and burning guitar all interweave in an infectious, polyrhythmic stew. Being in the presence of lead vocalist Tori Roze is worth the price of admission on its own. She is a unicorn of a soul singer and natural-born frontwoman who melts inhibitions while dousing every dancefloor with kerosene.

Having shared the stage with legendary acts such as Dumpstaphunk, The New Mastersounds, The Meters' Leo Nocentelli, Shuggie Otis, and the late, great Bernie Worrell, The Humidors rise to the moment of every occasion. They have honed a sound that pulls from a melting pot of old-school and modern influences. They embrace the collective essence of funk where the whole is more than the sum of its parts.
