The Man Who Gave Away a Quarter of His Income: Mervyn Archdall and the Making of a Balmain Legacy
Come and hear this intriguing, historical story and celebrate that St Mary's has turned 180 years old.
Dr Mark Earngey will present the fruit of his research into a former St Mary's Balmain Rector and his incredible impact.
There will also be an exhibition of artefacts, registers, portraits, brass, organ, war memorial each telling a story of the legacy of St Mary's Balmain.
Refreshments will follow the lecture with an opportunity to explore the church. Attendance is free but registration is essential
About our speaker
Dr Mark Earngey is the Head of Church History at Moore Theological College. He completed his studies at Moore College, UNSW and the University of Oxford.
