***TICKET SALE CLOSES ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 23 AT 6:00PM***

We invite you to help us raise funds to send directly to people in Ukraine.

Lots of donations and help is taking place for those who make it to the borders and reach safer countries, but those left behind who either are unable and too afraid to escape or have decided to stay and either fight for their country or help their own, they need our help as well. I, Laura Iseppi have been in daily contact with my friends in various parts of the Ukraine and in particular with Inga who is trying to help others with assistance including children, horses, pets and other people caught without food, water or shelter.

We need to help these people and their animals. Both are now hungry and cold at -20 degree Celsius temperatures overnight.

The funds are being raised for Ukranians in Kharkiv to get food and feed for their animals and for Ukranians in the city of L’viv building a hostel for refugees trying to make it to the Polish border by car or foot.

If you prefer to donate goods, please mail protein bars, blankets, towels, pots, crockery, mugs, anything that can be used for day to day survival of refugees in a hostel to:

Olena Zhyvotova • Ukrposhta, Slovazkogo Str, 1 79000 • +380672551829 (Inga's relative in L'viv)

If you want to donate more, flip the page to see where you can send financial aid.

Inga is a woman in her early 30's who used to run a rhythm gymnastics and horseback riding academy in Kharkiv up until two weeks ago when the Russians completely destroyed her whole world.

A lot of people have reached out to her to ask for help. Especially, her rhythm gymnastics students as they are little girls. She has the connections on the ground helping those who need it right now in the city of Kharkiv. She managed to reach her sister in L'viv but a lot of her family, including her mother and grandmother couldn’t escape Kharkiv. The Russians have cut their water supply and the electricity, and it is still winter.

The LUNCHEON on Sunday 27 March will be at the home of Laura and Darryl Iseppi.

9 Country Lane, Mount Samson, QLD 4520, 11:30am to 3:30pm

The funds raised will be split between Funds for Inga Campaign,

and The Rotary Foundation Disaster Grants for the Ukraine.

Cost will be $50 per person for a 4 course multicultural lunch with vegetarian options.

Live entertainment to be confirmed. Beer, wine, softdrinks, etc will be available for purchase. We would also like to run a raffle on the day. We have one prize already, we welcome Raffle prizes.

What other help is needed: volunteers to help sell tickets to the lunch, on the day running the bar and selling raffle tickets, and help with clean up after the event. Depending on numbers we may need extra tables and chairs.
