JCI Brisbane is thrilled to host a weekend full of opportunities for connection, networking, and growth. The weekend includes the JCI Australia TOYP Awards Ceremony and two days of jam-packed content at Brisbane: The Innovation City Conference. Here’s how it breaks down:

The JCI Australia TOYP Awards Ceremony

The Junior Chamber International Ten Outstanding Young Persons (TOYP) award recognises ten people between the ages of 18 & 40 who exemplify the spirit of the JCI Mission and have extraordinary accomplishments regarding individual development, business and entrepreneurship, community action, and international cooperation. Previous global recipients include Elvis Presley & Jackie Chan.

The JCI Australia TOYP Awards Ceremony recognises Australia’s National Honourees. This is the opening event for the conference. The evening also features a keynote address from Taj Pabari (ASE Group) alongside a panel discussion on the future of Brisbane. You will also have the chance to meet and congratulate the 2021 JCI Australia Creative Young Entrepreneur (CYE) winners. Participants will hear from event sponsors and partners and panelists:

    Saturday the 23rd - Sunday the 24th of October

    Brisbane: The Innovation City Conference

    Over the course of the two days, delegates will decide on joining one of two streams. The first stream is for those who are new to business. By the end of the weekend, delegates who choose this stream should have the basic skills required to take action and start a business of their own.

    The second stream is for those who are already in business, and interested in higher-level talks and workshops to develop their business skills and knowledge.

    Attached to the conference will be a trade show of local startup-mid cap businesses to attract investors & venture capitalists, and ensure quality networking opportunities for all.

    Refund policy

    Unless required by law, refunds will be considered at our (JCI Australia) discretion on a case-by-case basis. We may require reasons and/or evidence supporting your request for a refund. If the event is cancelled a credit note or vouchers to future JCI events will be offered, and you may receive a refund at the discretion of JCI Australia. If the event is postponed in the first instance an automatic credit will be applied for the new event dates. Requests for refund will be assessed on a case by case basis - application may be made however purchaser acknowledges that they may not receive a refund Requests for refund must made in writing to info@jciaustralia.org.au up and must be received no later than seven days from the event commencement date. JCI Australia will acknowledge receipt within five working days.
