THE INSANITY
In a desolate underground basement on the outskirts, a psychiatric ward cloaked in perpetual darkness, everyone is besieged on all sides. Seven unacquainted 'patients" find themselves trapped here after fainting from an unexpected mishap. The outside world is reduced to a mere camera's eye, creating a Truman-esque psychiatric universe. Here, forced encounters unearth deep-seated confusions,
unrest, mania, anxiety, and shock - all fiercely erupting in the confined ward. Seven souls, one 'God', a theatre of the absurd. Is the truth merely an exaggerated jest, or are they truly ensnared madmen in this prison? Self-validation, mutual confirmation, denial, counterarguments - an illusion of an exit, so near yet so far.
Rebellion might invite even harsher subjugation. Pills or electric shocks, perpetrator or victim, an eternal Möbius strip, an unceasingcycle of despair. Death, or a life more torturous than death?
