The Insurance Council of Australia’s 2025 Annual Conference returns this year on Thursday, 9 and Friday, 10 October 2025 at the Hyatt Regency Sydney.

Bringing together industry leaders, regulators, policymakers and commentators from the international and domestic insurance industry, the ICA’s conference will take a deep dive into the key opportunities and challenges facing our sector.

Tickets are opened exclusively to members for a limited period of 12 June to 20 June – we encourage you to purchase your tickets early to avoid disappointment and take advantage of the early-bird discount.

Event format

Building on the success of last year's format, the conference will feature main plenary sessions open to all attendees in the morning, with the afternoon dedicated to breakout sessions.

This structure allows participants to choose the sessions most relevant to them, with breakout sessions made at the time of ticket purchase.

Due to demand, we’re excited to let you know that the ICA’s Annual Conference will this year run over to a second day with main plenaries and dynamic Q&A.

As breakout session places are limited, early registration is recommended to secure your preferred sessions.

Event details

Day 1: Thursday, 9 October — Registration opens at 8:30am. Sessions commence at 9:00am and conclude at 4:00pm, followed by networking drinks from 4:00pm–6pm
Day 2: Friday, 10 October — Registration opens at 8:30am. Sessions commence at 9:00am and day will conclude at 1pm after a formal close and lunch.
