The Internal Investigator: Fundamentals Through a Sexual Harassment Case Study - Online

Session 1 - Wed 19 May 2027 9am - 12pm

Session 2 - Thurs 20 May 2027 9am - 12pm

Q Workplace Training has the industry expertise to support the professional development of internal investigative processes and teams. This fundamentals workshop aims to equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to conduct procedurally fair and effective workplace investigations. Whether you are in a dedicated investigative team, Human Resources, Employee Relations, management or lead position, this training will provide you with valuable insights, best practices, and practical strategies to handle these sensitive matters with procedural rigour, confidence, and a trauma-informed approach at every stage.

Sexual harassment investigations carry significant weight - legally, organisationally, and for the people involved. Conducting them well requires both a sound investigative framework and a clear understanding of what these complaints involve.

This two-session workshop takes you through the complete lifecycle of a workplace investigation - from the moment a complaint lands to the delivery of findings and closing out the matter, using a sexual harassment complaint as your working case study throughout. Every stage is covered. Key decision points are examined. You will not just learn the theory; you will apply it in real time.
