🫧 If you've been attending interviews, over multiple rounds, case studies or panel interviews just to receive the "we've gone with another candidate" response - then this is sure to benefit you.

There is nothing more deflating or isolating than processing where you could have done better. Most people speak of the lack of feedback in the recruiting process, to tell you what you could've done differently. This edition of Bubble Sprints is tailored around you and how you can interview with confidence, getting the feedback that matters.

We can't change how companies interview or how broken the job market feels right now, but we can give you something real: actual feedback from people who interview and coach talent every single day and know exactly what they're looking for. They know what makes candidates stand out, the cues that show confidence and the responses that show you're the right fit for the role.

This isn't a course where someone stands up and tells you the "three steps to acing an interview". You're going to walk into a room with interview coaches and product leaders, where you'll get 15 minutes one-on-one to answer up to 2 interview questions like you actually would in a real interview. They'll tell you if you're talking too fast, if you're missing metrics in your answers, if you're coming across like you don't want to be there and more importantly, they'll give you real feedback to help improve the way you interview. You'll be able to record the session on your own device to take away and reflect after also.

WHO YOU'RE TALKING TO:

✨ Jane Yuan is Head of Product at Smokeball and she's passionate about coaching product people. She'll help you figure out what you're actually looking for in your next role and how to explain your product thinking clearly.

✨ Jason Ajai is the Director and interview coach at InterviewFit and has spoken at our events before. He's honest, transparent and genuinely empathetic to how candidates show up best in interviews. Go to him if you're struggling with "tell me about yourself" or navigating salary negotiations questions.

✨ Adele Hoyle is the Chief Product Officer at Smokeball and she builds great products while developing high-performing teams. She's practical about scaling organisations, navigating the realities of SaaS and using tech to create real customer value. Ask her about influencing with/without authority or building teams that actually work.

✨ Adriel Jeyanandhan is our co-founder at Product Bubble and Product practice lead at Ampol. His strength is helping you answer interview questions with conviction and authenticity, so ask him about people management or how to advocate for yourself.

THE AGENDA:

4:00 pm: Check in and nibbles

4:30 pm: Interview 101 (what's trending, what hiring managers actually want, what not to do)

5:00 - 7:00 pm: Your 15-minute coaching sessions (answer interview questions, get real feedback)

7:00 - 8:00 pm: Drinks and networking.

HOW IT WORKS:

When you register, we'll ask some questions to help match you with a facilitator who could help you best.

We are going to simulate an interview room environment, for yourself and a hiring manager. Between your interview slot you'll hang in the bubble where you can network with the Smokeball team and other attendees. Or just use the time to get in the zone, till it’s your turn. If you want to record yourself answering, we'll have tripods set up so you can play it back later and actually hear and see how you interview.

The event has been kept intentionally small to allow for personal feedback and practical takeaways for every person who attends. Numbers are limited, so grab your tickets to avoid missing out.

WHO'S THIS FOR:

While we will have product people facilitating on the night, this is open to anyone who is looking to get real feedback and improve the way they interview. It is tailored for you and you will leave with tangible takeaways on how you can apply it for your next interview. All levels welcome.

This event is proudly hosted by Smokeball, who've created a space where we can show up as ourselves. They've been named Australia's #1 Best Workplace (Medium Category, 100–999 employees) for 2026 by Great Place To Work® Australia and that's not an accident.

Practise. Refine. Build confidence. See you there. 🫧
