A nurturing half-day retreat for pregnant mothers and mothers at any stage of postpartum.

Motherhood is one of the most profound transitions a woman will ever experience, yet so often she is expected to carry it all alone.

The Iris has been lovingly created as a space where mothers can soften, exhale and be held.

Whether you are preparing to meet your baby, navigating the newborn days, or moving through the ever-evolving journey of matresence, you are warmly welcome here.

This retreat is open to pregnant mothers and mothers at any stage of postpartum. For the comfort and intimacy of the experience, only babies aged 6 months and under may attend alongside their mother. Mothers with older babies and children are warmly invited to attend solo and enjoy this time entirely for themselves.

What To Expect

The experience begins with a guided meditation designed to help you slow down, arrive fully into the space and reconnect with your body.

You’ll then receive gentle grounding touch therapy, nurturing dry hair play and soothing sound healing, offering an opportunity to soften, regulate your nervous system and receive care.

Together we’ll create a beautiful seasonal floral keepsake using fresh native blooms. A meaningful piece to take home and treasure long after the retreat has ended.

We’ll then gather around a nourishing Ayurvedic-inspired shared banquet lunch, where food is enjoyed intentionally amongst rich conversation, connection and community.

Throughout the retreat there will be opportunities to pause, reflect and simply be with your baby. Some moments may look like laughter and joy, others may look like stillness, tenderness or tears. There is no right or wrong way to show up here. All feelings, experiences and reflections are welcome.

Each mother will also receive gentle Reiki and learn simple nervous system regulation practices to support her throughout motherhood.

To close our time together, we’ll gather in circle for a beautiful red thread ceremony that honours matrescence and the invisible threads connecting us as mothers walking a similar path.

Babies & Children Babies aged 6 months and under are welcome to attend with their mother at no additional cost. Due to the nature of the retreat, children over 6 months of age cannot attend.
Mothers with older babies and children are warmly encouraged to come on their own and receive the nourishment, rest and support this experience offers.

This retreat is for the mother who longs to slow down. The mother who wants to feel seen. The mother who craves meaningful connection. The mother who is ready to be nourished, supported and gently reminded that she was never meant to do this alone. As a Holistic Postpartum Doula, it would be an honour to hold this space for you.
