ABOUT IRONBARK ENSEMBLE
The Ironbark Ensemble came together after the Covid lockdown in Sydney. These five musicians are individually renowned on their respective instruments as soloists, chamber and orchestral musicians working with such groups as the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra, Opera Victoria and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
Ironbark Ensemble strives to promote awareness of the Reed Quintet as a chamber ensemble by performing original works and arrangements for this ensemble and further contributing to the performance medium by seeking out the commissioning of new works. With the re-emergence of live performance, Ironbark strives to showcase the musically unique and diverse repertoire that a reed quintet chamber ensemble can produce.
