We have a great night of jazz lined up for you with The Jazz Haus Canberra presenting for one night only The Trident Jazz Trio.

The trio is made up of local legends Lachlan Coventry on Guitar, the fabulous James Luke on the upright bass and Chris Thwaite on drums.

Trident formed many years ago on a regular Tuesday night gig at the Trinity bar, they will be performing a mix of original compositions and jazz standards completely reimagined.

Lachlan Coventry is a multi-instrumentalist and well known in the Canberra Jazz circles for his creative improvised music.

James Luke is an amazing player of the upright bass and anything else of the four string variety. He makes them sing with a clarity and feeling that makes you anticipate the next note and savour the last ones with passion.

Last but certainly not least is Chris Thwaite, making up this dynamic trio and the rhythm engine room of the band, and certainly no stranger to the Jazz Haus and Lone Wolf, having worked for many acts over the time including the fabulous Wayne Kelly Experience.
