The Joni Mitchell Portrait Series - Mountain View Farm

Contemporary Folk duo Pepper & Davies write lilting and grooving songs about sweet gritty love and finding belonging in the modern landscape. At the centre point of Pepper & Davies’ varied songwriting influences is Joni Mitchell, and in this concert series she is the focus! With a musically authentic approach via Damon’s re-tuned guitar strings Joni-style and Zoey’s expressively lilting and sweeping voice, listeners will be in the Jone-Zone!  Weaving together the songs, paintings, travels and stories of Joni Mitchell, Pepper & Davies will present and ever-evolving collection from Clouds, Ladies of the Canyon, Blue, Court & Spark and Hejira, dotted with the odd song by a lover or contemporary. Whether a long-time Joni fan, or a newcomer to her music, this is a concert that paints for you an intimate portrait of one of history’s most celebrated creators.

At our Mountain View Farm concert, we invite listeners to settle into the charming barn courtyard with encouraged BYO picnic and wine (tea & coffee provided), surrounded by gardens and fairy lights, as the sun sets on stunning views from the foothills of Gulaga mountain. Why not book dinner at the pub for 7:30 afterwards? And for the travellers and weekenders, Mountain View has a variety of B&B accomodation to suit!
