The Josh Rogosin Experience at JMC Academy

JMC Academy is proud to host the legendary master of sound, Josh Rogosin at JMC Academy Brisbane on the 25th of September 2024. Straight off the back of an impressive stint with NPR's Tiny Desk, Josh is now exploring the world with his new and exciting project. Read more about the man, the myth, the legend, below:

Josh Rogosin created the iconic sound for over 800 Tiny Desk concerts across 10+ years, collaborating with Fred Again, Yo-Yo Ma, Sting, Post Malone, Taylor Swift and countless others. He introduced theater to the series, producing and engineering performances from Blue Man Group and Sesame Street to Wicked, The Lion King and Hadestown. Now he’s traveling the world to create 2 new series, Global Sound Concerts and Ghost Light Concerts, discovering artists and venues to learn more about the culture of those places. If Anthony Bourdain did a music show, this would be it. Josh is excited to share his experience as an audio journalist for 25 years with students all over the world, using field sound gathering techniques to capture music in unconventional ways, in unlikely places.
