We are delighted to invite you to The Joy of Many Colours – Katherine Multicultural Festival 2025, proudly presented by the Connected Women group of the Australian Red Cross, in collaboration with Katherine Town Council and our vibrant Katherine community. This special event is a heartfelt celebration of our rich cultural diversity and unity.

Festival Highlight: The Joy of Many Colours Fashion Show

📍 Godinymayin Yijard Rivers Arts & Culture Centre

Be inspired as more than 70 remarkable women from migrant and Indigenous backgrounds take to the runway, showcasing strength, resilience, and creativity. The fashion show, divided into four captivating segments, will feature garments thoughtfully created, upcycled, and repurposed by local community members, including our respected First Nations women.

Enjoy the rhythm and soul of the festival through live cultural performances, including traditional cadence dancing and powerful vocal acts—bringing to life the spirit of harmony and belonging.

Multicultural Food Expo
🕡 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM
Held at the same venue, the Multicultural Food Expo is an exciting partnership with the Katherine Town Council. Indulge in a global feast of over 25 cultural dishes while enjoying live music, a fun-filled photo wall, jumping castle, liquid drumming, and much more!
