The Lady Musgrave Trust Annual Cocktail Party Fundraiser for the Logan Housing Project

Price $140 – $1300 AUD + BF Get tickets

Event description

The Lady Musgrave Trust is fundraising to build safe and secure homes through our Logan Housing Project and we need your support.

Next year we will be dedicating our Annual Cocktail Party Fundraiser to raising money to deliver a new, transitional housing complex in Logan for young mothers (aged 18-24 years) and their children by late 2024.

Once completed, this development will provide young Queensland women with an additional 3,500 nights of safety per year.

The generosity, enthusiasm and discussions around this project have already been immense. But as we look to break ground in early 2024, we still need to raise additional money to go towards construction and running costs.

Due to the extreme levels of homelessness being experienced by women in Queensland, and the rising cost of living continuing to put pressure on the housing sector, this complex is needed now more than ever.

The model we are working towards as an organisation won’t just provide housing solutions for homeless women, but will provide the means to solve the problems leading to homelessness in the first place.

We want to thank those who made 2022 and 2023 record years for the Cocktail Party. But there is still so much work to be done to ensure Queensland women and their children facing homelessness get the help they need.

Your support, as both a corporate entity and as an individual, will directly change the lives of Queensland women and their children. This is a tangible difference that we can make together.
