Description
The Lanes Stories – Live at West End Uniting Church
Join First Nations siblings The Lanes – Sarah and Joshua Lane – for an intimate live performance celebrating family, Country, culture and the stories that shape who we are.
Following the release of their debut EP The Lanes Stories, Sarah and Joshua bring their original songs to West End Uniting Church for a special evening of country-folk storytelling and music.
Growing up in Townsville, the siblings draw on their family history, lived experiences and connection to Country to create songs that are deeply personal while carrying stories that many people can connect with.
Their music explores love, family, resilience, identity, hope and the places that have shaped them. Songs such as Mama, Seven Sisters, Cloncurry Murry, Let Him Run and Send My Love each tell a different story from the Lane family and beyond.
With heartfelt vocals, acoustic guitar and rich harmonies, The Lanes invite audiences into their world through music and storytelling.
Come along for an intimate night of original First Nations folk-country music, powerful stories and songs from the heart.
Everyone is welcome.
