What is behind Israel's war on Gaza?
Why do so many Palestinians support armed struggle?
How does this relate to Lebanon and Hezbollah?

In this hard hitting debut documentary, Lebanese-Australian lawyer Nicholas Hanna explores these questions and the crucial context largely ignored by mainstream media.

Filmed in Lebanon and Occupied Palestine, The Last Sky is a must-see documentary for anyone interested in understanding the current Gaza war and the escalating conflict in the region.’

Join us on Sunday 20 October at the Newtown Community Centre for a screening of The Last Sky followed by a discussion and questions with Nicholas Hanna.

Over a year since Israel ramped up its genocide in Gaza, it is imperative that we continue demonstrating our support for the Palestinian people and sending a message that they are not forgotten. Sending a message out to the NZ goverment, we will not stand as they continue complicity in Israel's genocide.

Please be aware that this film explores genocide, violence and abuse and could be upsetting, particularly for younger viewers.
