    Event description

Discover the magic of storytelling with our new Children’s Creative Books on Bushfire Smoke and Health Protection!

In response to the devastating 2019/20 ‘Black Summer’, our dedicated researchers identified a gap in resources addressing bushfire smoke specifically. Collaborating with talented authors and illustrators, we’ve created two enchanting books that guide young readers through the challenges and solutions related to bushfire smoke.

    Featured books:

Shirin and Amir and the Dragon Smoke, by Liz Drummond and Jemima Shafei-Ongu, illustrated by Magie Khameneh

Captain Nadia and the Can Do Crew, by Inda Ahmad Zahri and Andrea Baldwin, illustrated by Anil Tortop.

Bring your family and friends for a fun and educational event! Enjoy readings, interactive activities, and meet the authors and illustrators behind these inspiring stories.
