Ainslie and Gorman Arts Centres in partnership with All The Queens Men and Meridian present the August Edition of the LGBTIQ+ Elders Dance Club!
This event fosters social inclusion, promotes social connection and an engagement in healthy physical activity in a COVID safe environment, creating a regular space for LGBTIQ+ elders to express themselves, without fear of discrimination or judgement. The Dance Club also serves as an opportunity for elders to share stories of their past and current experiences, fostering peer to peer exchange and support, strengthening community amongst LGBTIQ+ elders.

COVID Safe: Mask wearing at our centres is now required, however if you are dancing or eating and drinking you may take your mask off. Remember to register your visit to Ainslie by checking in with the Check in CBR app.
Access: if you have any access requirements please call us on 6182 0000 and we will work with you to ensure you can attend the event.
Parking: Parking is available at Ainslie Arts Centre at the front in the semi-circle driveway, or at the rear (entry of Elder St). Closest public transport is the 31 bus stop at Doonkuna St/Donaldson St – 200m from the venue.
The fabulous monthly edition of the ACT based LGBTIQ+ Elders Dance Club is co-produced by All the Queens Men, Meridian and Ainslie and Gorman Arts Centres.
