The Light of Love Documentary
Event description
The Australian and World premier of the documentary The Light of Love explores the life and work of Swami Prakashananda of Nashik, more affectionately known as Babaji.  This documentary, written and directed by Dean Das, is a unique insight into the  meditation revolution of the 1970's and 80's. Underpinned by the teachings of Babaji, the documentary is peppered with handheld camera footage reclaimed from VHS tapes and enriched with recent interviews and stories of Babaji's devotees from Australia, the USA, India and the UK. This documentary is truly one of a kind.
For ten years Dean Das ran his school of meditation, Mind Yoga, in the name of his guru, Swami Prakashananda, at the Freemason's Hall in Canterbury Street, Yarraville.
