THE LISTENING ROOM: KAYTRANADA - DAY PARTY SPECIAL
Description
Some music isn't meant to stay in your headphones.
For the first ReconnectLDN Day Party Special of 2027, The Listening Room celebrates the unmistakable sound of KAYTRANADA.
Three albums. Five hours. One room filled with people who love music as much as you do.
99.9% × BUBBA × TIMELESS
Three records that helped redefine the space between house, hip-hop, R&B, funk and electronic music.
From the warm, sample-led grooves of 99.9%, through the soulful rhythms of BUBBA, to the expansive sound of TIMELESS, this is an opportunity to experience the music properly — from beginning to end.
No shuffle. No skipping. No rushing the good parts.
But this isn't just about listening.
As you arrive, you'll help decide the order in which the three albums are played. The room chooses where the afternoon begins.
Each album will be played in full on vinyl, with curated DJ selections between records creating space for conversation, connection, food and drinks.
As the afternoon unfolds, the energy shifts.
The records become the soundtrack to new conversations. The conversations give way to movement. And after the final album, the DJ takes us into one last chapter on the dancefloor.
No pressure to know every track. No need to come with a group.
Just good music, good people and an afternoon worth being present for.
Gather. Unplug. Vibe.

The sound of possibility. Soulful samples, broken rhythms and an infectious groove that made the world pay attention.
02 — BUBBA (2019)
Deeper into the pocket. House, R&B and effortless rhythm, built for people who know that the smallest musical details can change everything.
03 — TIMELESS (2024)

The order? That's up to the room.

FAQs
- Will KAYTRANADA be performing?
No. This is an independent ReconnectLDN listening experience celebrating KAYTRANADA's recorded music. KAYTRANADA is not appearing or performing at the event.
- Is this a listening session or a day party?
Both, by design. The afternoon begins with complete-album listening, with DJ selections between records. As the music progresses, the experience becomes more social and energetic, ending with a closing DJ set.
- Will the albums be played in full?
Yes. The intention is to experience all three complete albums on vinyl, rather than a playlist of selected hits.
- Can I come alone?
Absolutely. ReconnectLDN is built around bringing people together through music. Coming solo is very much part of the experience.
- Will there be food and drinks?
Yes. BloomsYard's food and drinks offering will be available for guests to purchase separately.
- Is seating reserved?
No reserved seating is included in the ticket. The event is designed around a relaxed mix of socialising, listening and movement.
- What's included with a Duo ticket?
