Event Description
A nurturing, sensory‑friendly retreat day designed especially for neurodivergent or sensitive children aged 8-12 years. Held on sacred land at Rise Temple in Upper Burringbar, this gentle day invites children into stillness, groundedness, and creative expression at their own pace—held with care, free from pressure.
What’s Included
10:00–11:10 AM — Slow Breathwork, Meditation & Mindfulness
A soothing, guided session in The Calm Space studio. Soft light and gentle soundscapes help children settle into presence and regulation. After the initial introduction there will be 40 mins of breathing and meditation.11:15–11:45 AM — Light Outdoor Play & Sensory Grounding
Gentle exploration of the land—barefoot walking, sensory touch, quiet wandering, all held in a safe and supportive way.11:45 AM onwards — Nourishing Lunch & Snacks
Seasonal soup, organic sourdough, veggie sticks, dips, fruit, banana bread, and hydration station tailored to dietary needs.12:30–3:00 PM — Nature Walk & Sculpture-Making
Children gather natural elements (twigs, leaves, seed pods) and return to create personal mobile sculptures—crafted with paint-dipped pinecones, branches, natural textures, and heartfelt affirmations. Each creation is a tangible reminder of calm, joy, and creativity to take home.Optional Infrared Sauna (15 min per child) — Scheduled during the creative session; limited to 10 participants; fully guided by staff.
