The Lit Show

The Lit Show—think The Late Show, but with writers—is an annual celebration of DC’s literary community co-hosted by PEN/Faulkner and The Inner Loop. Held at the charming Keegan Theatre, we'll spotlight five stellar fiction writers: Alice McDermott (Absolution), Hasan Dudar (Carryout), Shannon Sanders (The Great Wherever), Shelagh Powers Johnson (A History of Existing Life), and Susie Dumond (Bed and Breakup). They’ll read from their latest book, sit down for an interview about their writing life, and top off the evening with a round of literary trivia. After the show, guests are invited to a warm, casual reception in the Keegan’s lobby with book sales from East City Bookshop and a cash bar.
