The Live Lesbian Dating Show, Naarm!

Clock off from work. Take this evening to be daring. Meet and start something new. Explore things you’ve always wanted to discover. Sweet number exchanges. Sweet love letters. Sweethearts. You never know who might show. 

Daisy and Koa had forged a friendship at the last gathering, their connection igniting unexpectedly outside on the kerbside, with Koa lending Daisy a lighter—a moment of serendipity that led to a bond that felt as instant as it was electric. Now they were back again, both energised by a shared goal: to yearn and to avoid anyone simply seeking to beat around the bush. Tonight’s highlight was the Live Lesbian Dating Show, an affair painted with the hues of laughter and spontaneity. Promoted as a whimsical escapade, it promised not just chuckles but also the tantalising possibility of new romantic entanglements, should fate choose to play its hand. As the host introduced the contestants, Daisy found herself cheering, her laughter blended with the energy of the crowd, but her eyes kept darting to Koa, who was seated beside them, playfully rolling her eyes at the antics on stage.

Their short moment was interrupted as Daisy and Koa exchanged an incredulous glance. Without pausing to think, they both blurted out in laughter, '"Is that Bowie?'"

Welcome to Third Rodeo's first, Live Lesbian Dating Show! A large romantic social gathering designed for people to explore chemistry, pleasure and to playfully introduce themselves. February is the season of love <3 so we're dedicating three different types of dating events this month to give people a good chance at finding it. 

EVENT DETAILS:

7.00pm - 11.45Pm ⭐

Come join us on the evening of Friday 07 February  for social dating at, Golden Gate Hotel (The Coventry room), South Melbourne. It is a casual, but charming atmosphere, privately booked out for you to socialise among the Lesbian/Queer community. Grab your Cabernet Sauvignon from the bar and turn strangers into dearest companions. 

Limited seats available. You never know who you'll meet.

Please note: This event is designed for ages 21-29 and who are looking to romantically date. Please RSVP by January 31st. 

Event Breakdown:
We'll greet ya at the door, tick ya name off and give you a match card.

7.30pm - 8.30pm

★ The Live Dating Segment: Present a 2-3 minute dating profile to the crowd. This can be done by yourself or your nominated single bestie! Nothing too serious here, just a fun way to introduce yourself to the crowd. Be creative. Be yourself. Have fun with it. Check out Love in La for inspiration. If you are interested in participating please send us your short powerpoint presentation to Third.Rodeo.Studio@outlook.com by 06 February. 

- Cover topics such as Your name, star sign, why you should date me, if i was a bread i'd be, hidden talents, etc - literally anything (as long appropriate). 

8.30pm - 9.30pm

★ Speed dating session: You can be expected to go on at least 12 dates - 4 Minutes per round. 

- Always introduce your name & pronouns 

- Questions are fun, flirty, and creative! Nothing too serious here!

- Participants progress from one table to the next. Number of dates will be determined on how many participants there are. On the night we will determine which direction we will move in. Please notify the host if you have any mobile accessibility requirements so we can assist you (-:

9.30pm - 11.45pm

★ Group Dating: Stay for group social mingling activities. Roam around the room and introduce yourself to someone new.

★ Call me cards: Keep in contact with each other. Write your details down on one of the 'Call me Cards' displayed around the venue and give it to them. It's a lovely gesture, an old fashion trick that works like charm! 

This is operating at a licensed venue. Please do not BYO. This event is designed for persons 21+. Please note, you will be exposed to loud chatter, large crowds, background music and mood lighting. Photography will be present, although, if you wish to not have your photograph taken, let us know. This venue is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. We are working assiduously towards functions that are fully disability accessible.
