The Living Room Experience

Presented by BLD PWR x BAJI | During AfroTech Week

Pull up. Take a breath. Come home.

That’s The Living Room Experience (LRE)

A vibe. A homecoming. A space to breathe, boogie, and be your full self. No code-switching. No small talk. No corporate cool.
Just real ones. Real talk. Real love.

The Theme: Blackness Is Technology

We’re flipping the script on what innovation looks like because Blackness has always been the blueprint. Through art, conversation, and sound, we’re tapping into the tools we already carry: our rhythm, our laughter, our stories, and our power.

In collaboration with BAJI (Black Alliance for Just Immigration), this year’s Living Room centers community, creativity, and connection; exploring how we build futures rooted in care, culture, and joy.

🎶 The Vibe

This ain’t no buttoned-up networking mixer.
It’s a day (and night) filled with love, food, and good energy.

Our Intentions

We’re here to:
Reclaim — space for joy, safety, and cultural expression during AfroTech Week.
Restore — our minds, our energy, and each other.
Reimagine — what freedom feels like when we gather with love.
Rise — into something bigger, together.

The Living Room Experience.
BBQ, booze, and belly laughs.
Pull up. Take a breath. And come home.
