The Living Room @Shadows
Event description
We are bringing The Living Room to you!!! We are throwing a party with the artists behind some of our favourite mixes so far, complemented by a living room inspired stage design and one of the best sound systems in the nation. 6 quick months have flew by since The Living Room's inaugral mix was recorded, with intentions of only being a mix series you all have turned it into its own living entity. Thank you. To show our gratitude we present to you the first of hopefully many events to come, with cheap tickets and profits donated to charity. This is our way of giving back to the people that have made this possible aka you, the listener, the subscriber, the person that scrubs through mixes in 30 seconds but still leaves a like anyway. This is your event, you did this. I'm keen, are you?
Lineup (a-z):

It is imperative to acknolwedge that the stolen land on which we will be gathering always was and always will be the land of the Ngunnawal and Ngambri people. We pay our respects to the Ngunnawal and Ngambri people past, present, and emerging. We extend our ongoing support for first nations communities in their fight for land back, self-determination, and continuation of culture. Profits from this event will be donated to Yerrabi Yurwang, a community service ran by Ngunnawal people for Ngunnawal people. Check out their website here, https://yerrabi.org.au/. Free tickets for all First Nations people attending, get in touch via our instagram @thelivingroom.cbr.
We have a strict policy against any forms of antisocial and discriminatory behaviour. This night is a celebration of diversity and inclusivity, as such we have zero tolerance for discrimination of any kind. If you or someone you know is feeling uncomfortable please come and speak to a member of the Shadows staff or one of our volunteers on the night, we will ensure that you are heard and your issue is dealt with. This is a non-judgement space, be aware of how your actions affect those around you and ensure that you are contributing to a positive experience for everyone both on and off the dancefloor. Active and affirmative consent is the only form of consent, do not touch other people without it. Adhering to these policies helps to ensure that everyone feels safe, respected, welcomed, and free to express themselves however they please.
This even unfortunately is not wheelchair accessible.
There will be no strobe lighting at this event.
