The Longest Night: Winter Solstice Sound Bath
Event description
The longest night: winter solstice sound bath
A long form exploration of Ambient music from dark and uninsulated places. Performed by a collective of musicians playing live pieces individually and collaboratively.
Opening precedings with a synthesiser sound bath, played by Cannibal Noids and friends, to help settle you into the acoustic space which the Norla Dome provides.
From out of the darkness comes Drago Kisse chopped and screwed dark ambient glitch which descends into an intermission drone in D performed by Anocht, Cannibal Noids and friends.
The temperature drops with Anochts guitar and sampler driven ambient black metal from the windswept hills of Ireland which becomes an instrumental intermission and slowly builds into Dead Resonances improvised wall of sound. Incorporating all performers of the evening on vocals; saxophone, amplified stringed instruments and effects.
We encourage you to move around the dome while we perform. Bring pillow and something comfy to lay on if you like.
