'Life in the Old Dog' in association with 90's House Music Lovers Down Under are back with their Spring event,

After the huge success of Thawed last year, we have decided to return to the scene of the crime - Captains in the Centre of Geelong.

This is a unique outdoor space, which s perfect for the Spring weather and creates a vibrant atmosphere, as those who were at the last event here will testify, as it went off. You can also grab a drink inside at There There Bar or rest your legs on one of the super comfy retro couches.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Some of our 'Life in the Old Dog' favorites will be back spinning their choice of anthems and there will be the usual mixture of digital and vinyl DJ's playing original classics and updated remixes.

LINE UP (All Now Residents in Victoria)

HOOLY - GLASGOW UK

Formerly a backing dancer with the dance group Yosh and played at some of the UK's biggest clubs back in the 90's, like Cream in Liverpool.  Created  the 90's House Music Lovers Down Under Page/Group and is responsible for a large portion of the tuneage that is uploaded.  His sets are eclectic and loves nothing more than a remix of an old classic! 

RICH-E-D - SOUTH EAST LONDON, UK

Starting to build some great traction with the crowd, as he brings great energy in his vinyl sets. Dragged himself off his death bed to play at Boom Box and he did not disappoint. Rich has vast experience DJ'ing in the 90's scene in London and his love of vinyl has brought him back to playing out again and to share his large collection with the masses.

G I JAYNE - BIRMINGHAM, UK

It is great to get a female DJ on board with our events and Jayne has become a regular and a firm favourite with the 'Life in the Old Dog' massive. Jayne will bring the vocal vibe to get you dancing round your hand bags (and that's just the blokes). Her experience goes back to DJ'ing at Miss Money Penny's in Birmingham when it was one of the UK super clubs and if you think Defected tuneage, you'll be on the right track!

CLIVE BROOKES - LONDON UK 

Another one who witnessed the Summer of Love as it happened and has been on his musical journey ever since.  Clive has become a firm favorite with the 'Life in the Old Dog' faithful. Clive always brings the happy vibe with his uplifting house numbers but expect some remixes of some old school classics to be thrown in to his set, He's missed the last couple of events and we can't wait to have him back behind the decks.
