Event description

THE LOVEYS are hilarious, hip, flirtatious and utterly divine. Let them take you on a gorgeous journey down all of the garden paths of life, love, intimacy, friendship and being absolutely fabulous!

Decked out in shimmering lurex, these four, modern women wonderfully answer their own question from the song ‘Have I Left it Too Late?’, with a very definite negative ….

With soaring voices and brilliant harmonies - a very clever percussionist, bass, ukulele, keyboards and a bassoon,The Loveys are a tight cabaret band, brilliantly blending comedy, tales of life’s experiences and how we cope with them.

Gaining 5 star reviews for their stint at this years Adelaide fringe festival THE LOVEYS feature the stunning talents of JENNY PARENTEAU, JANET SWAIN, BELINDA EADSFORTH and PAM FREEMAN.

The exquisite, lyric-driven songs of Jane and The Rain will mesmerise you with their simple beauty and eloquence.
Jane Cornes Maclean is a multi award-winning author, journalist and songwriter. Her songs are poems that explore what it means to be human.
Winners of song of the year at the Yungaburra Folk Festival in 2020, Jane and her husband Neil "The Rain" Steward deliver a blend of thought-provoking lyrics, soaring vocals and intricate guitar that will stay with you for a long time.
