Description

The Man From Snowy River Bush Festival is held annually in April at Corryong in the foothills of the Snowy Mountains halfway between Melbourne and Sydney. It is a unique bush gathering of mountain riders, poets, artists and lovers of the Australian High Country and pioneering spirit, bringing together people from around Australia. The Festival offers a unique experience to competitors and visitors alike to be part of the celebration of traditional Australian Bush skills that remain an essential part of Australia’s heritage.

MFSR COVID COMPLIANCE

The Man From Snowy River Bush Festival and associated events will run under the Victorian Covid 19 Public Events Framework/guidelines and any restrictions imposed by Public Health at the time of the MFSR Bush Festival.

The Festival is an all-weather event and will not be cancelled except on the advice of emergency services in extreme conditions, or State Government Health Department directive. 3. The Festival reserves the right to cancel or change certain events due to weather or safety issues in which case no refund or exchange is applicable. 4. No refunds will be made if you choose for any reason not to attend the Festival. 5. Medical Exception: In accordance with the applicable Live Performance Australia Code of Practice for Event Ticketing. Refunds on serious medical grounds may be applicable. These refunds need to be applied for in writing no later than 30 days after the close of the Festival. Any requests for refunds received after this date will not be accepted. 6. Held every April, the Festival brings together people from around Australia as well as international visitors to celebrate traditional high country and bush culture, in particular the imagery created by AB Banjo Paterson’s and Australia’s most famous poem “The Man From Snowy River.” The Festival offers a unique experience to competitors and visitors alike to be part of the celebration of traditional Australian Bush skills that remain an essential part of Australia’s heritage.
