The Mandala Bowl Workshop

A Grounded in Clay Workshop at Gumtree Wellness

Create a beautifully hand-built ceramic bowl with an elegant scalloped rim and a finely detailed centre, inspired by the timeless beauty of mandalas and the patterns found throughout nature.

Join us for a welcoming pottery workshop where you'll create your own unique ceramic bowl using traditional hand-building techniques.

Guided step by step by an experienced pottery teacher, you'll shape your bowl, refine its elegant scalloped rim, and add a beautifully detailed centre using simple pottery tools. Inspired by the harmony and balance of mandalas, the decorative design enhances the bowl while allowing its graceful form to remain the focal point.

Working with clay provides an opportunity to slow down, become immersed in the making process, and enjoy the satisfaction of creating something both beautiful and functional.

No previous pottery experience is needed. Whether your design is beautifully simple or richly detailed, every bowl becomes a unique reflection of its maker.

Once complete, your bowl will be carefully dried, glazed in your choice of available colours, and professionally kiln-fired at Good Hope Pottery. Your finished piece will be ready to collect a few weeks after the workshop.

Come and spend a few quiet hours creating, focusing and connecting with clay in the beautiful, supportive environment of Gumtree Wellness.

No experience necessary — just come as you are.

Your art can be collected from Yass or posted for an additional $15

Workshops are for aged 16 years and older
