Together with musical directors Jesse Taitt and Rick McLaughlin, we are thrilled to announce the 2026 edition of The Mandorla Collective. Each year, a select ensemble of top Boston-based musicians celebrate a figure central to Boston jazz history whose influence continues to reverberate.

In 2026, the ensemble shines a light on tenor saxophone veteran Bill Pierce, who worked with Art Blakey, Tony Williams and many others, and who's been a fixture on the Boston scene for many years. Pierce will join an exciting intergenerational ensemble to perform a program of favorite pieces.

On Sunday, November 8th, at Theodore Parker Church in West Roxbury, 1859 Centre St, West Roxbury, MA 02132. Please use the Corey Street entrance. Please find directions, parking and accessibility information here.
