WHO IS THE EVENT FOR:

When men are provided with the space to be creative, they surprise themselves! Come and surprise yourself. Men expressing themselves through functional creativity is a great way to be present at the moment. Creative art therapy allows people to express how they are feeling through different mediums, such as art, dance, music, or poetry. Art therapists use these mediums to improve cognitive and motor function, improve self-esteem and self-awareness.

Men thrive in this environment, so grab your tickets and become a Primal Creative through so if you feel called to create, then this event is for you.

ABOUT THE EVENT:

Unlock the artist the within and be free to self-express. We will have a large canvas for the whole group to contribute and reveal a masterpiece. After introductions, we will drop deep into short meditation to become totally present, facilitated by Garth Brewin, who has facilitated the men's healing space for many years and has facilitated many of The Mateshop events. Craig Murray will then bring in thoughtless action to the tapestry of your life.

When you use subconscious actions, you can express your deepest creative emotion and be vulnerable with no judgment. Craig “ the playful painter’, is an expressionist painter, facilitator, collaborator and working towards the journey of becoming an art therapist.

The venue has a full operating ceramic studio so this option to use clay is being offered.

Tickets are $25 with profits being donated to Destiny Rescue our charity partner.

Some painting and drawing equipment is supplied, please bring your own if you are working on a particular project or reach out to us about materials supplied.

Three small ceramic pieces can be created, with one colour glaze.

Pick up in 3 weeks after the event.

Paint pens and rocks supplied.

Please note this is an alcohol and drug-free event. Kids are welcome.
