The Mindful Child and the Modern World with Georgina Manning

Join us for a practical and thoughtful exploration of mindfulness and its role in supporting children to flourish in the modern world.

Children today are growing up in an increasingly complex world. Rising rates of anxiety and depression, growing levels of distractibility, increased screen time and the influence of social media are prompting important conversations about how we can best support children’s mental health and wellbeing.

Mindfulness is one promising approach.

In this seminar, Georgina Manning will explore some of the challenges facing children today and how mindfulness can help them navigate modern life with greater awareness, resilience and wellbeing.

Drawing on her extensive experience working with children, parents and educators, Georgina will explore:

How can mindfulness best be taught to children?
What helps children engage with mindfulness?
What can parents and teachers do to support children to bring mindfulness into their everyday lives?
