Holiday Festival for the Entire Family!
Join us for an unforgettable evening of harmony, culture, and compassion on Sunday, December 10th, from 3-5 PM at Newton City Hall!
Door will open at 2:30 PM.
The vibrant Ukrainian and Israeli communities come together for an extraordinary concert and family event The Miracle of Lights – a Festival of music, culture, and philanthropy, all in the spirit of the holiday season.
Event Highlights:
Featuring: Live performances from exceptional artists, including Ukraine’s Got Talent sensation Sofia Shkidchenko, the award-winning children’s group Stellar Voices, and renowned singers Olga Lisovska, Liliana Glik, Alena Starr – bandura.
Dance Jewish and Ukrainian social dances together with choreographer Vladimir Foygelman.
Balloon Animals by Steven Elfant starts at 4:00 PM.
Fun for Families: Bring your little ones for an array of exciting activities! From face painting and creative crafts, there’s something for every young adventurer. Decorate holiday cookies, make your own Hanukkah menorah from Oreos, and do donuts/sufganiyot.
Play in 2,5 millennia-old game for kids Dreidel/a four-sided spinning top and win Hanukkah Gelt, chocolate money.
Support the very noble cause! Each kid will receive a gift from our sponsors! Enjoy and learn about Jewish and Ukrainian cultures.
Culinary Delights: Journey to Ukraine and Israel as you savor Israeli and Ukrainian cuisines, immersing yourself in the rich flavors of these beautiful cultures.
Holiday Vendors: Explore a holiday marketplace filled with treasures! Talented vendors will showcase their unique products and crafts, offering you the chance to find one-of-a-kind gifts.
Community Bake Sale: Indulge your sweet tooth while supporting a great cause! Our bake sale aims to raise funds for children in Israel and Ukraine affected by the ongoing war. Your contribution can make a difference!
