After two back-to-back sold-out shows, Taylor Sol returns to Auckland with The Miracle Tone, this time held on the Winter Solstice, the deepest, stillest night of the year. A night that has been marked by cultures across the world for thousands of years as a moment of turning, of reflection, and of return.

This is an evening designed to meet that stillness. A seated concert experience built for deep listening, calm presence, and genuine musical beauty, arriving at exactly the right time of year for it.

Over 90 minutes, Taylor Sol weaves rhythm and melody through the handpan, an instrument celebrated for its ethereal, resonant voice — music that is at once grounding and uplifting. The evening opens with a short spoken introduction, moves into a full hour of live handpan music tuned to 432 Hz, and closes with a gentle reflection to bring the evening full circle.

This is a pure listening concert. No background in meditation or sound healing required. Just you, the music, and the night.

A note for families: This is a quiet, immersive listening experience and the music is sensitive to sound in the room. Babies and very young children who may need to move or vocalise during the concert may find the stillness challenging, and that's completely okay. We'd gently suggest this experience is best suited to children aged 6 and up who are comfortable sitting quietly for 90 minutes. If you're unsure, feel free to reach out before booking.

SEATING & WHAT TO BRING

Theatre chairs are provided. Bring a shawl if you'd like to settle in that way. Bring water, and come as you are.

REFRESHMENTS A selection of special hot drinks will be available on the night, thoughtfully sourced from local providers. Whether you'd like to warm up before the doors open or settle in with something in hand, the lobby will be a welcoming space to gather, connect, and ease into the evening. Hot drinks are available at an additional cost and are welcome to be brought into the theatre with you.
