‘Lighten Up My Mood’ single/vinyl launch party at The Citadel, Murwillumbah
Echoing the poetic sincerity of song-writing greats of the 60’s folk revival, Murwillumbah songstress Shani Forrester has a growing reputation for captivating audiences with her intimate, soulful performances.
She is joined in The MoonShip by Damiano Messia on electric guitar, Jack Merriman on drums and fellow local Glenn ‘Bloomfield’ on bass. Together they will be cooking up a tasty mix of soulful, cinematic, bluesy, folk-country pop - blurring boundaries and evoking phantom memories of yesteryear, with a sound somehow both brand new and imbued with notes of nostalgia.
Supported by Amy John Roberts (solo) and Rosa Mack (duo), The MoonShip celebrate the release of their latest single ‘Lighten Up My Mood’. Available for streaming on 11/11, the track has also been immortalised on vinyl, boasting the exquisite artwork of Irene Messia. There will be limited copies available for purchase on the night.
